This compact historic farmhouse was built in Seattle’s Central Area in 1903. The home lives larger than its 1,200 square feet thanks to its clever floor plan. The tall ceilings, fir floors, and dramatic windows provide a simple backdrop for eclectic art and furnishings. All of the furniture and rugs were sourced second hand mostly from local shops and dealers. The interior plants take advantage of the ample filtered light and provide a counterbalance to the rich fir flooring. The color palette was carried throughout the home to create a sense of cohesion. The original art is by Seattle and West Coast artists including works by Joe Rudko, Sara Long, Kelly Bjork, Jean Nagai, Ria Leigh, April Brimer, Ashley Armitage, Derek Erdman, Max Cleary, Jesse Lortz, Izzie Klingels, & Christian Petersen.
Project Scope: Living Room, Dining Room, Piano Room, Bedroom, and Office.
The next stage will include replacing light fixtures and a refresh to the Kitchen, Bath & Laundry spaces.
