As the Construction Project Manager for the renovation and addition to this 3,000 square foot historic North Capitol Hill residence, I was responsible for managing efforts between the field teams, Architect and client. I managed estimating, subcontracts, budget, and schedule. The design had complex elements including a coved ceiling in the Master Bath, picture moulding, art mosaic tile floor, custom walnut parquet floors, custom brass shelving, and floor to ceiling walnut built in cabinetry. I was responsible for sourcing appropriate subcontractors for all installations, including specialty fabrications, ensuring their work met client satisfaction. Every detail had to come together like an intricate sculpture to bring the vision to real life.
