Tokyo Smoke Seattle is the first US retail experience for a Toronto based lifestyle brand at the Thompson Hotel.

Project Overview:
Project management, operations management, and owner’s representation for a complex highly custom empty shell tenant improvement project. Host weekly update meetings with the COO and Director of Operations in Toronto via Zoom. Work with the Toronto based creative team to successfully source alternate furnishings to meet the design aesthetic presented by the Toronto based design team, Design Agency, along with the budget and timeline outlined by the operations team. Prepare an all-in budget to include all owner furnished equipment, furnishings, merchandisers, and art work prior to purchasing through local vendors. Hire on the store team including the coffee and sales teams, in total 11 local employees. Project management from permitting and build out to hiring and training the store team and merchandising the store. Manage all US accounts, invoicing, and payroll services. Leverage local connections to source unique cafe offerings. Negotiate and execute the roll out plan for the Tokyo Smoke coffee experience at Thompson Hotel Seattle. Prepare an investor facing presentation and speak on behalf of the organization on the future of cannabis retail at the Thompson Hotel as an invited speaker alongside real estate mogul Martin Selig.
